I’m not too sure what has brought on the sudden need for gutter cleaning, but over the last month we have been called upon to clean close to 100 gutter cleaning jobs.  There really hasn’t been much of anything that would call for it like bad storms that cause the gutters to overflow.  We aren’t complaining though.  Working on gutters is one of our favorite aspects of this business.  You get some cardio from climbing up and down ladders (the higher up the better), you get the best views of the country or sometimes the city, and I also like to take the debris from the gutters and turn it into compost for my vegetable garden.

Gutters need much more maintenance than most would think.  Like the old term “out of site, out of mind” if you cant see into your gutters you haven’t a clue whats going on up there.  So you don’t think of it much until you see water overflowing from the eaves.
